All events will have sponsors to cover the cost of dinners, luncheons, tours, educational seminars, dances, and entertainment. I would like to see the seniors pay as little as possible for this event. They will pay for their hotel and food, and will be given cut rates for other activities and events. The Summit should be hosted by the local museum and the studios. This is Hollywood and we would like to get the studios behind this, as well as Metro Rail, Universal Studios, Paramount Studios, The Motion Picture Academy, the Entertainment Museum, and Walt Disney. Carol Connors will be one of the lead stars. We will feature the parents and grandparents of the stars at an event. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proposed taking a lead role: the unveiling of a star during the event. This could be a senior star. There will be a Hollywood Parade for the seniors, sponsored by the Auto Club, featuring vintage cars. The Senior Olympic Awards. Get all organizations involved.Create an annual event. The communication part of this Expo should educate and involve the seniors and children in the computer age. Proposed sponsor: Bill Gates. How the senior becomes involved. The Baby Boomers – Their introduction to the Three Categories of the Seniors: Young Senior, Middle Age Senior, Older Senior This annual event will give us the opportunity to bring together the leading senior organizations. Have fun and learn. This summit and expo will open up a new world to seniors through the sponsorship of the industries that are involved in creating the new world of innovations. We need to know the “how’s” and the “where-fore’s” to be able to open new vistas. This three-day event will open many doors and give us all the opportunity to learn from each other. The loaction is Hollywood, the communiaction capital of the World We will also be celebrating the new Hollywood. The location is perfect for bringing together the old and the new in a spectacular environment of arts and entertainment. We need to know that quality of life is so important and we should involve the arts in all our issues. Mental health will also be a main focus. Be happy
